Zooki vs Revive vs Absolute Collagen: Which UK Liquid Collagen Is Worth It?

Open box of 14 KUDU 20g liquid collagen protein sachets on a marble surface

Zooki Super Strength gives you the most marine collagen for your money of the three, at £2.60 per 10g. Absolute Collagen has by far the smallest sachet, and Revive is the one to pick if you want extras like hyaluronic acid or retinol in the same drink. If you eat beef and want a training-sized dose, KUDU's 20g shot costs £1.25 per 10g, less than half the price per gram of any of them.

Quick answer

All three rivals are fish-based, skin-led and sit between 5g and 11g of collagen per sachet. Per 10g of collagen, Zooki Super Strength is cheapest (£2.60), then Revive (£3.00) and Absolute Collagen (£3.03). None lists sport testing. Pescatarians should choose one of these three. If you compete in a drug-tested sport, KUDU is the only one of the four that is Informed Sport certified, and the only one with 20g in a sachet.

We make one of the products in this comparison, so every competitor figure below comes from that brand's own UK product page, checked on 15 October 2026. The links are in the sources at the end. Prices move, so check before you buy.

Compare the cost per 10g of collagen

Price per sachet hides the real difference, because the doses range from 5g to 20g. Use the checker to filter by what you eat and whether you get drug-tested, then sort by what matters to you.

Zooki vs Revive vs Absolute Collagen: the full side-by-side

Here are the main liquid sachets from each brand, with KUDU's shot as the fourth column. Every figure is from the brand's own product page on 15 October 2026. "Not listed" means we couldn't find it on that page.

Two other sachets matter for the head-to-head. Zooki's standard Collagen is 5,000mg at £29.99 for 14, which makes it the cheapest sachet here (£2.14) but the dearest per gram (£4.28 per 10g). Revive Enhanced Plus is 10,000mg at £41.99 for 14 (£3.00 a sachet) and adds retinol, keratin and B vitamins.

Subscription prices

Everyone discounts subscriptions, so the order can change. Absolute Collagen is £25.59 for a first subscription box, then £30.59, which is £2.19 a sachet. Revive Original is £29.27 on subscription, with a 30% first-order promotion when we checked. Zooki takes 20% off subscriptions, so Super Strength comes to £31.99 for 14. KUDU's 20g shot is £27.96 on subscription, £1.99 a shot.

Zooki: the strongest marine sachet of the three

Zooki sells two strengths. The 5,000mg sachet is aimed, in Zooki's words, at under-40s or as a maintenance dose. Super Strength is 11,000mg and is the version Zooki suggests for over-40s. It is made in the UK, comes in several fruit flavours and has a fraction of a gram of sugar.

  • Best for: pescatarians who want the highest marine dose per sachet and the lowest cost per gram among the three.
  • Watch for: the 5,000mg version looks cheap per box, but you pay over £4 for every 10g of collagen.
  • Zooki vs Revive: Super Strength gives 2.5g more collagen than Revive Original for about 31p more a sachet, so it wins on cost per gram. Revive wins if you want hyaluronic acid in the drink.

Revive: skin formulas with extras added

Revive builds its range around skin and life stage. The Original sachet is 8,500mg of type I marine collagen with hyaluronic acid and aloe vera, 36 kcal and 0g sugar. Enhanced Plus takes collagen to 10,000mg and adds vitamins A, B6, B12, C and D plus keratin. There are also menopause, sleep and focus versions.

  • Best for: people who want one sachet that combines collagen with extra skin-focused ingredients.
  • Watch for: extras cost money. Per 10g of collagen, Revive is around £3.00 against Zooki's £2.60.
  • Revive Vegan is not collagen. Revive describes it as a plant-based substitute that mimics collagen. If you want collagen protein itself, there is no vegan version. Our guide on whether collagen can be vegan explains why.

Absolute Collagen: the smallest sachet

Absolute Collagen's liquid is 8,000mg of marine collagen in a 10ml sachet, which is tiny. You can drink it straight or stir it into a drink. It is halal-certified, made in the UK, and the company is a B Corp. Absolute Collagen points to its own clinical study on this 8,000mg formula for skin.

  • Best for: anyone who wants the least volume to swallow, or to stir collagen into another drink.
  • Watch for: the one-off price per gram (£3.03 per 10g) is the highest of the three main sachets, and the product page we checked did not list sugar.
  • Absolute vs Zooki: Zooki Super Strength gives 3g more collagen per sachet and costs less per gram. Absolute is the better pick if a small sachet matters more than dose.

Where KUDU fits, and where it doesn't

KUDU was built for people who train, so it starts from a different place. Each 20g Liquid Collagen Protein shot holds 20,000mg of hydrolysed bovine collagen in a 63g ready-to-drink sachet, with 85 kcal and 0g sugar. It is Informed Sport certified, which means batches are tested for substances banned in sport. The latest batch was tested on 12 October 2026. Flavours are Sour Cherry, Strawberry & Vanilla, Peach and Orange, and it is stocked in Boots and on Amazon as well as on our site.

Here is where a rival suits you better:

  • You don't eat beef. KUDU is bovine. Choose Zooki, Revive or Absolute Collagen instead.
  • You only want a small dose. If 5g is your aim, Zooki 5,000mg is the cheaper sachet.
  • Calories are tight. Our shot is 85 kcal because it carries twice the collagen. The marine sachets are 36 to 47 kcal.
  • You want a small sachet. Absolute's 10ml sachet is far smaller than our 63g shot.

How to choose: dose, source and testing

Dose: match it to the research you care about

Skin studies have mostly used 2.5g to 10g of collagen peptides a day. A 2014 trial gave women aged 35 to 55 either 2.5g or 5g a day for eight weeks and measured skin elasticity, and a 2021 meta-analysis pooled 19 skin studies. Studies on connective tissue and training have used more. A 2008 trial in athletes used 10g a day, and a 2017 study gave 15g of gelatin with vitamin C an hour before exercise. These are research findings, not promises, and collagen has no authorised health claims in the UK.

Source: marine or bovine

Marine collagen comes from fish skin and is mainly type I. Bovine collagen provides types I and III and is the source used in many sports-science trials. Neither is better in general. Pick the one that fits your diet, then compare price per gram. Our marine vs bovine guide goes deeper.

Testing: only matters if you are tested

If you compete under anti-doping rules, choose a product on the Informed Sport register and check the batch number. Of the six sachets here, only KUDU lists Informed Sport. If you don't get tested, this column matters much less.

A safety note: if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a kidney condition or take medication, speak to your GP before starting any supplement. If you have a fish allergy, avoid marine collagen.

FAQ

Is Zooki better than Revive collagen?

On dose and price per gram, yes. Zooki Super Strength has 11,000mg for £2.86 a sachet against Revive Original's 8,500mg for £2.55. Revive is the better pick if you want hyaluronic acid or added vitamins in the same drink.

Which is better, Absolute Collagen or Zooki?

Zooki Super Strength gives more collagen per sachet and costs less per 10g (£2.60 vs £3.03). Absolute Collagen has the much smaller 10ml sachet and a clinical study on its own formula.

Is Revive Collagen vegan?

Revive's main range is marine collagen from fish. Revive Collagen Vegan is a plant-based substitute and contains no collagen.

Which collagen is safe for drug-tested athletes?

Look for a product on the Informed Sport register. Of the products compared here, only the KUDU 20g shot lists Informed Sport. Zooki, Revive and Absolute Collagen don't list sport testing on their product pages.

Can I take two smaller sachets to get a higher dose?

You can, but the cost doubles. Two Zooki Super Strength sachets give 22g of collagen for about £5.71 a day at one-off prices.

Are these prices up to date?

They were checked on 15 October 2026 on each brand's own UK site. Brands run promotions often, so check the live page before you buy.
